As a therapist I am legally obliged to take a medical history as well as your personal data. All Information collected is confidential and securely stored with physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure this. This information is also stored as hard copies in a locked secured filing cabinet. The information is required to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:
- Internal record keeping.
- We may use the information to improve our products and services.
- We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.
- From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone, fax or mail. We may use the information to customise the website according to your interests.
- To contact you directly relating to your therapy treatment (via phone, text/message, email as you prefer)
- To post related material to you.
This information is required to create a record of your service including only relevant information.
Information we collect from you will never be shared with anyone else.

Collecting your information
Most of our pages on our website can be accessed without giving us your personal information. If, however, you sign up for our mailing list we’ll ask you for your name and email address. We also record your activity and preferences when visiting our website through the use of cookies (see the Cookies section below).

If you agree to receive email updates, we’ll use your name and email address to send this information to you in the form of newsletters. By sending this information to you, we are pursuing our legitimate interest to provide you with the latest news, events, and information regarding our services. Who else receives your personal data?
We will only share your personal information with third parties if required by law or if they are integral to the operating of our business.
Third parties operating on our behalf include third-party website statistics tracker (word press statistics tracking), third-party payment provider (Paypal), and third-party mailing provider (MailChimp). Data collected via our website and forms is encrypted in transit using highly secure TLS cryptographic protocols, and any third-party companies listed above that operate outside of the EU are registered with the US Privacy Shield and have updated their privacy policies to ensure your personal data is adequately protected in line with GDPR.
How long will we keep your personal data for?
We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. For those receiving our therapy service we will keep hold of your data during the period we provide our service to you plus 10 years from the date of your last treatment, in order to comply with UK record keeping requirements.

Whenever you are asked to fill in a form on the website, look for the box that you can click to indicate that you do not want the information to be used by anybody for direct marketing purposes if you have previously agreed to us using your personal information for direct marketing purposes, you may change your mind at any time by writing to or emailing us (see contact details below)
At any time you wish to be removed from emails, you may click “unsubscribe” at the bottom of the page at the end of any email.You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998. A small fee may be payable. If you would like a copy of the information held on you please contact us via the Contact page.
If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible at the above address. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.
